nie każdy lubi Warszawę. dla jednych jest byt wielkomiejska, dla innych prowincjonalna. skupiona na biznesie, polityce i robieniu kariery, nieprzyjazna dla ludzi. za szybka, za głośna, brudna i nieporządna. jest w tym łut prawdy. ale ja nie widzę tak Warszawy. być może dlatego, że szukam w niej czegoś innego. dla mnie to miasto niespodzianek, zabawnych sytuacji, zagadek, wspomnień i... sztuki. zwłaszcza sztuki w przestrzeni miejskiej. tej dynamicznej, pojawiającej się i znikającej. tropię ją od lat. są też fantastyczne projekty o Warszawie. ta strona to moje archiwum. większość znalezisk można odnaleźć na mapie google. bawcie się dobrze. some people don't like Warsaw. they believe it is too big, or on the contrary - too provincial. focused on business, on career, unfriendly. too loud, too fast, dirty and messy. there is a grain of truth in this. but it is not how I see Warsaw. maybe because I'm looking for something else. for me this is a city of surprises, funny situations, riddles, memories, and... art. especially art in public space. the dynamic, appearing and disappearing form of art. I have been looking for it for several years now. there are also wonderful projects about Warsaw. this blog will be my archive. you can find most of my findings on the enclosed google map. enjoy.

WIELOPLEXIKOŃ – czyli klasyczna animacja Muybridge’a napędzana wiatrem i regulowana nurtem Wisły. Im rzeka szybciej płynie, tym prędzej biegnie koń. Czerwony kolor oświetlenia, jako ten pierwotny, mocny, podkreślić miał jeszcze stadia ruchu zwierzęcia.

A classical animation by Muybridge powered by wind, its pace determined by the flow of the river. The faster the water, the quicker the horse. The red light - the strong, original colour - was supposed to stress the stages of the run even more.
